Wash your hands Story
Today we will talk about
Mariquita and his brother Peter.
Mariquita and his brother
Peter went on a trip to Bolivia,
where they enjoyed the rivers and discovered all about water.
They have already come back
home.
Do you want me to tell you
about their adventures?
Mariquita and Peter came
home and began to play, then Peter said, "The first to arrive at the front
door will be the king of the World" and started running
Mariquita ran after him
saying:
- "I will be the Queen of the world because I will win you".
Peter was winning but he
stopped playing because there was a dog at the door of his house.
Mariquita and Peter stood
still while a toddler was screaming Baluuuu, baluuu time for lunch!.
Some minutes later Mariquita
and Peter’s parents came back home and asked the child:
- Is this your dog?
Yes, the child replied, and
he asked.
- Do you live here?
Yes, replied Peter, licking his face while everyone was laughing.
Mariquita asked:
- What's your name?
- I am Jorgito.
As the children were very
happy, they invited to Jorgito to eat cakes that they had brought from Bolivia.
While they were preparing
the table, Mariquita and Peter’s dad told the kids to go to wash their hands.
The two brothers got up and quickly they went to the bathroom. Jorgito looked
at his hands and said "I do not think I need to wash my hands because they
are clean"
Then Peter said, "no
Jorgito my sister taught me that you have to wash your hands when you come from
the street because the germs are cheaters and very small, so you can not see them because they are hidden, they hide in our hands and we can get ill.
It is also important to
wash our hands after playing with animals because the germns hide in their hair,
said Peter while he was washing Jorgito’s hands.
When Jorgito got wet hands
and washed them with soap, the water was brown yaaaaaaaaaaak!
Jorgito said very
surprised: Wow, I really had very dirty hands!
Then Mariquita said,
imagine all the germs you had, if you get ill you can not play or go to school.
Now that we have clean
hands we can all go to eat cakes. Great!
And they all ran.
After eating they started
talking and discovered that Jorgito was going to the same school as Mariquita
and Peter. That afternoon they went together to prepare the backpack for
school.
Next morning the three
children went to school.
Peter showed Jorgito the
playgrounds, the classrooms, the music room and especially the bathrooms which
were very clean.
Jorgito was looking at the
school, discovering each place. Jorgito was so glad that he told Peter:
·
It’s very nice to have water to wash our hands before
eating our tea!
Together they went to
class, while they were singing:
Wash your hands with soap
and water
Wash your hands before
eating
Drink clean water when you
are thirsty
And clean and healthy you
will live better.
